The long-term impact of this initiative will be significant.
First, In full transparency- I was motivated by the desire to generate more business for my team...I wanted to build a community of investors (new and seasoned), agents, and agents who invest all helping one another, such that we would have a community not only to pour into one another but to source deals, conduct JVs, etc... ultimately this would support the overall growth for my team.
Second, I have long had the desire to create and take on initiatives aimed at empowering teenagers and young adults to do great things. I never had the time- I never slowed down long enough to take action. Sadly, nothing happened. After two decades of experience in real estate, working with sellers, buyers, investors, and the dozen others who make up a real estate ecosystem, I've hosted over a dozen seminars over the last fifteen years and after our inaugural Build It Now LIVE on June 29th, it became clear that I had to create a place where teens and young adults can learn early, where they can be with likeminded young adults, and where the conversation is centered on financial literacy and wealth building through real estate. By providing knowledge in this area, such an organization can positively impact the financial futures of countless individuals and potentially change the trajectory of future generations.
Real estate is a powerful tool for wealth creation. While it's never too late, still, time makes a huge difference.
In other words, someone who begins their journey in their early 30s can do very well. However, by having these conversations and focusing on financial literacy, insofar as wealth building as it specifically relates to real estate, with teenagers and young adults by the time they're in their early twenties, regardless if they are already investing, there is a profound effect on that youngster's mindset.
When we introduce our kids to financial literacy and teach them about wealth building in real estate at an early age can have a significant positive impact on their financial future.
Here are a few reasons why starting early can be advantageous:
Time for long-term growth: By learning about real estate investing in their teens, children have more time to grasp foundational concepts, understand market trends, and learn effective strategies for wealth creation.
